I'm Silas Adams the commander of Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 64 of Hazard Ky, 41701.
We have a new building under construction for our veterans here in Perry County. It is 150 feet
long and 50 feet wide. It is about one third finished and we have run short on funds to complete
the building and supply it with the needed air conditioning, heating and furnishing the needed
tables and chairs and other office supplies.
We exist for the purpose of serving our veterans and families of veterans in this ares and
surrounding counties. We do the 21 gun salute and render full military rights for our deceased
veterans. We also provide service officers for the purpose of getting the benefits for our
veterans that they deserve.
If you could, would you send a donation to help us in this endeavour. All contributions are tax
deductible. You would be helping disabled veterans by doing this.
All money is used for this purpose except for the needed money for upkeep and maintenance or
our building, such as insurance, electricity, gas and water.
